Craft Cocktails
At Milo's, we believe that a great drink is more than just a mix of ingredients. It's a work of art, crafted with care and precision. Our expert bartenders are passionate about their craft and are always exploring new flavors and techniques to create the perfect drink for you.
Wine
Milo's features an extensive wine list representing all of the major wine-growing regions of the World. Watch for our weekly bottle specials, which feature fantastic wines at incredible prices
Beer
Milo' feature some incredible beer from two award-winning local breweries. Our taps always feature Stumptown Ales, just down the street from Milo's, and we have cans and draft from High Ground Brewing in Terra Alta, WV. We also offer an extensive list of other beers by the can and bottle.
Non-Alcoholic
We haven't forgotten those who are leaving the alcohol behind. We've got some great non-alcoholic beers and hop-infused waters
Our Story
Milo's is located on the lower level of a historic building in the center of Davis, WV. Built in 1896 to house lumberjacks for the town's two then-bustling lumber mills, the building was for a time used just for storage, and then received a major renovation including the lifting of the building and the laying of a modern foundation, in the 1980s. Fortunately, much of the original building character remains, including much of the original wood that was milled in Davis.
During the first major renovation, the '80s carpet was removed from the lower level, and beautiful real Pine floors installed to match the original character of the building, as well as the original floors on the upper level. Walls were taken down, the space opened up, and at the same time, the owners gave the newly renovated space its own name, since they had a lot of plans to grow the restaurant into a true staple of the town.
It just so happened that at this time, the owners had adopted the most adorable puppy they had ever laid eyes on, and his name was Milo. Milo has incredible energy, and he's always excited to try new things. This was just what the owners had in mind for the restaurant, so they decided that Milo would become their official mascot, and the restaurant would be named Milo's!
Through several more rounds of renovations, Milo's has continued to grow, and now features a full Cocktail Bar serving craft cocktails, local beer, and wines from around the world. Milo's is now open for dinner 7 nights a week, and continues to offer our famous breakfast 4 mornings a week. Our beautiful bar area has also become home to the fabulous @EMay, who performs most Friday nights throughout the year.
And we aren't done - check back regularly as we plan to continue expanding service hours. We have exciting plans for the Summer of 2024!
